Kerrilyn has a history of breeding heavy cutting productive sheep having won four most valuable fleece awards at the Australian sheep and wool show Bendigo as well as a champion strong wool fleece and reserve champion medium and fine\medium fleece awards.
At wether trials Kerrilyn and Kerrilyn blood sheep are most often the heaviest fleece weight teams and at the 2013 shearing of the Ovens Valley wether trial a Kerrilyn blood team had the most valuable and heaviest fleeces and were the biggest sheep off shears
History - The Kerrilyn merino stud was founded in 1994 based on Belbourie and Wonga bloodlines. Since then most additions to the stud has been made by A.I. using top sires within the industry. In 2011 a Poll Merino stud was established with the purchase of 50 ewes and a ram at the Lewisdale dispersal sale W.A.
